I piggybacked this on Ronstars last post, but I'll make it its own. I thought this was a jean rivet, as I found one a couple feet away. Going through my bag last night,... shazam!

The scratch on the coin looks old, so I don't think it was my shovel. It has the diameter of a dime, but is a tad thinner. Amazing it made it all the way from Panama to get lost in ID.

I think he is still having trouble figuring out the denomination tho. That plus a really weird old rifle cartridge, this poor guy just cant find clad in the woods, nope, just strange history of the biggest party spot on campus.
 
That's a cool design. Being older and silver just makes it that much better. Congrats.
 
Neat and interesting find. I'm thinking it is a dime. I found one a few years ago on a Military demo'ed site and that's what I determined. HH Jim tn
