Surprising find for a U.S. city park

This park has been hit hard over the years but it still gives up a few mercs from time to time. Today, however, I found this:

Pretty cool find considering it was only a few inches down. Condition-wise, it looks awesome. You never know what you may find.

I found a Canadian silver dime just like yours in a park here in Ohio. Yours is in much better condition. Nice find!
 
I even found an early 1900 five cent coin.Wow was that tiny
 
I have dug a few silver canadian coins in Ohio as well, I don't think it is that uncommon, I find a lot of canadian coins in my change
