Sweet seated dime!

We were hit yesterday by 6 inches of snow in the morning. By the time i got off work there was only 3 inches. What a perfect time to try out a field where an old house site was.
This was about 3 inches deep under 3 inches of snow. Pretty easy for the XS to hit it.

Nice seated !! You should take your camera along with you so we can see it coming out of the hole. Some of us in the extremely frozen northern tier need to see some thawed ground !

That must have been lost in 1853, it's perfect! Awesome find.

Awesome find !

They don't come out of the dirt much better than that :yo: Congrats on an awesome coin.

I agree Leggohead...the strike is so bold it looks like a gamepiece from a checkerboard.

I found it at a site that i have found several large cents, silver 3 cent pieces, and 2 flying eagle cents. Im pretty sure its not a game piece but thanks for the compliment.

I apologize if I gave you that impression....nice find man

Wow what a beauty!

I found a 1853 seated with arrows last year; not as nice as yours but still almost uncirculated (you can see at my previous post).

If it did not have arrows would be worth well over $400!

Eraser does not work; mine had arrows as well...LOL

Beautiful coin.

What a great looking dime; sharp strike and a great shadow photo to boot.

Great job. You should get those coins together from that location and put them in a nice display frame.
