Swinging for beach gold with E-Trac......strategies

Plenty of targets, too bad you didn't strike gold, had fun though I am sure. The E-trac is awesome on the beach, I dug some deep targets while on vacation last year and couldn't believe my my eyes at the depth I was pulling coin's and rings and other jewelry from.

Hope your bring in a big one next time

Awesome stuff and great testing of your patterns and settings - I took mine to the beach a few weeks ago to try it out - I was working the wet sand and had the coil in about 3" of water at times - but I was so freaked out about getting it wet even from a random salt spray, that I didn't enjoy my time at all (unlike when I'm cranking with the excalibur).
Although the beach was totally sanded in and there were basically zero targets of any kind, I did manage to get a nice silver ladies ring...and it was really deep at 3 scoops - around 9+"...
I believe it is a great machine on the beach if you stay very vigilant at the water area..

That's sure a lot of nickels to dig in three hours - good job !

I watched an English guy on the beach at mlotv.com the other day. He was basically sitting the Etrac down in shallow water and dragging the coil through the surf 4" or so deep. Is this OK or not ?

Nice finds.
