Hit a few schools today - mostly fields. Dug about 50 coins, a gold necklace, a huge coin/commemoritive and some junk jewelery. The large coin near the bracelet is a 1 cent English coin.

The 21 inch necklace is stamped 10 K and has a neat golden pendant also.

The Prince Phil & Diana commemorative is in great shape and is huge. The quarter gives it an idea of size. It must weigh an oz or more, probably the biggest coin I have ever dug. Great weather to detect in today, Steve in so az

I think that is Charles and Diana. Congrats on the gold and BIG coin!

Hi Steve! I have a couple or more of those found in a club surprise hunt and I believe they are worth around $2.00 to $3.00! Mine looked like Silver Dollars but aren't silver! They are called Crowns are something like that, I think! Been too long since I've been told about the Large Coins! I think you can find them probably when looking up British Coins...Good Luck and then tell me if you find out anything? May God Bless! Amen! Ma Betty

Hello again, Steve! I found the Coins by putting 1981 British Crown of Prince Charles and Diana's Wedding in google! It is called a Crown made in different metals and denominations! The Nickel and Copper Alloy one is a 25 pence but maybe there was a one penny coin...don't know? You also might be able to get info on the coins on E-bay! Hope this helps! Betty

Betty - Thanks for the info. I dug 2 coins, both large. The second one is by the bracelet & that's the 1 penny one. steve
