T 2 SE/LTD and F 75 SE LTD

Has anyone here tried both of these detectors and if so, how would you compare each stability wise in emi situations and target id accuracy? Thanks, HH jim tn

Go on Jim..Go for it... Then you can give some real reports to us all on how it runs..

maybe a bit of "redundancy!" jim?

Yeeees, might be "bits of redundancy." Since there doesn't seem to be any inkling that F T is coming out with a souped up Omega (type) for us coin hunters, I guess I am just in to mood to try something a little different. Something that is near equal in depth to my LTD, but might id a little better at depth and possibly be a little more stable at the hotter settings I like to run. Guess I'll go take a cold shower! If your primary goal is to find silver, you really can't beat one of the minelab fbs machines. In particular, an Etrac would compliment your other machines perfectly. The E hits harder on silver, and handles EMI and bad ground much better. Not taking anything away from the fishers/t2, (I swing the t2) but the Etrac is a superior coin machine in non-perfect ground. I have been out with my hunting buddy who swings an Etrac, and compared many signals with his machine. As far as raw depth, I would say the t2 can keep up with the E in optimal ground conditions. If you factor in adverse ground conditions, sometimes the E will sound off on targets the t2 will either not pick up at all, or give a signal that you wouldn't really be to keen on digging. This does not happen 100% of the time of course, I'm just making note that it does happen. The First Texas machines have some advantages over the fbs machines as well, namely weight and recovery speed. These are just MY no bs opinions, and experiences. In my opinion any serious coin shooter should have an fbs machine in their arsenal.

One other thing, I love trying out new machines...but is there any real performance improvements on the SE's over the regular version?

I agree totally.......hunting with my E-Trac buddy is exactly as you described. I swing the T2 standard. Our soil is heavily mineralized. Mining country in Idaho.
