T2 question

2 Much Trash

Well-known member
I relic hunt with a t2 se and the t2 se dst. Lovem' both. This is not a complaint whatsoever but the overall sound on my dst model is at a much higher pitch than my se. Don't get me wrong, this does not affect its performance in the least. It's just my personal preference to hear a middle C rather than a high C if you know what I mean. Is there a way to somehow adjust the tone/overall sound on the dst to give a little lower pitch.
Thanks, Bill

Hey Bill, what mode are you using? I can't find anything in the manual on adjusting the tones other than selecting which tones you want to use....1...1+...2...2+...etc. You could try the FE tone feature and see if that works for you. I use BP mostly, 0 disc, and sens. as high as I can get it. Works for me. Hope this helps. Robert

I use BP also when I can however sometimes I use 2c which gives a similar tone to 2+ but ignores the iron can be useful on iron infested sites. Go slow though so you do not miss your positive signals. You can still get them close to the iron nails but not so the very big iron which squeals at you
