T2SE DST Upgrade verdict

What do you guys think of the upgrade? was it worth it?

Also, I see they have a March 2016 date on their website, what happens if you decide to send it in after that?

Yes it's worth it. I've been hunting with a t2 se for going on 4 years now. Bought a couple new and different detectors in the mean time as back up units. Got shed of them and got a new t2 se dst upgrade as a back up. Used it for a while then sent my old t2se in for the upgrade now being offered. It came back like a brand new machine. Now I've got 2. Still looking for a third machine but it's tuff trying to find a unit that might do anything more, at least for me, than what I've got. The upgrade is awesome. So many ways to set up for different hunting conditions. Depth is awesome and runs quiet as a mouse at high sensitivity. And I have found that when it gets some chatter changing frequencies does the trick, way better than the non upgrade. Iron volume control is great. Of course this is just my personal opinion based on my experience.
You may want to call First Texas support about what the upgrade options are after March. They're nice folks to talk to. :cheers:
