Since you've used it awhile could you explain a bit on the settings you've 'settled in' to using (for your dirt/conditions).
I notice your 'pattern 2' I believe (pressing detect button) is a fully open screen which would be similar to etrac iron mask?
how do you set/use fast on, deep on, trash and the other new settings? Have you found that they conflict or hamper one another in any way?

I run the standard silver pattern at the moment simply because I am just way too busy at the moment writing testing etc. I nearly always run audio response long and. I use the High Trash setting a lot but switch between Ferrous/Coin and Ground/Coin depending on where I am. Well picked up on the detect button, there are two patterns assigned to each of the modes P1 - P2 when you press the detect button it actually depends on how your second pattern is set up by you to what it will disc out or allow, correct.

No problems setting the different functions and it is as simple as hitting menu - edit - scroll down and then right or left arrow to select - very user friendly.
