teknetics 4 inch ultra coil

CoinHunter2 said:
Has anyone used the teknetics 4 inch ultra coil? I have used it about 4 time in heavy iron infested sites and it works great for me. I would like to hear what others think about this coil.

Where can I get one,I've been all over the net with 0 results.

Any word on how to score one of these coils?

Looks like you have to buy a new machine to get the coil you want. That's too bad, I'd like to have one also. I've got nothing against the dd's but the small round concentrics do great in many areas. I wish every company would offer one.

I have the 4 inch coil for the F2 and F4. On my Omega 8000 it gets about 1 inch of depth on dime at full sensitivity. I also have the 4 inch coil you are calling the ultra. I works wonderfully on both Omegas with good depth and very good separation. I would highly recommend this coil. I could only find it on the auction place but I am sure Monte has the same coil. Just make sure it is not for the F2. They look the same with the same connector, not the push in style.
