Teknetics Omega Brings Home The Silver :teknetics:

I went back to same place that I found a 1942 Mercury Dime with the T2SE a few days ago. I decided to give the the Omega a try with the 8 inch concentric coil. The Omega was not nearly as quiet running as the T2SE was, but it worked great at finding 6 wheat pennies and 1926 Mercury Dime. The dime was about 6 inches deep and the deepest wheat penny was around 7 inches deep. I had the sensitivity set anywhere from 80 to 99 depending on what part of the site I was hunting. I kept the discrimination set on 40 to help quiet it down some. 3 tones and the ground balance was around 67. There has to more silver hiding around there someplace. :)

Nice silvers tabman! the plate with the scrap looks llike my trip to the park last night.... steel bottle caps and beavertails by the hundreds. My F5 is in the shop getting fixed, so out came the bandido II uMAX, and the smallest coil I have for it is 7".

Keep up the good work! :super:

Good Huntin Tabman, Interesting to hear about the 8" on your Omega. Look forward to seeing more of the silver from that site.
