I went back to same place that I found a 1942 Mercury Dime with the T2SE a few days ago. I decided to give the the Omega a try with the 8 inch concentric coil. The Omega was not nearly as quiet running as the T2SE was, but it worked great at finding 6 wheat pennies and 1926 Mercury Dime. The dime was about 6 inches deep and the deepest wheat penny was around 7 inches deep. I had the sensitivity set anywhere from 80 to 99 depending on what part of the site I was hunting. I kept the discrimination set on 40 to help quiet it down some. 3 tones and the ground balance was around 67. There has to more silver hiding around there someplace.
