I am impressed. I just got a new T-SE, and I like this machine. Anyway, while assembling the unit for the first time, I noticed a hairline crack running down the seam on the upper end of the lower stem. Not exactly a fatal flaw, but it was aggravating for being on a new unit. I decided to contact First Texas and go thru the steps on trying to get it replaced. I did everything according to the manual, got the packaging ready and made a copy of the invoice, and then called First Texas to get the repair number. Talked to one of the nice ladies in the repair section. I explained the situation, and all she wanted was my shipping address and advised she would have a new lower stem enroute. I was somewhat surprised how easy this was taking place. I asked her " Do I need to ship the broken rod back to you along with a copy of the invoice?". To my amazement she replied " No that is not necessary, I trust you". I was somewhat shocked. You don't hear about a business nowadays operating like this. Where is all the red tape? No wonder they call First Texas "First". Many thanks Txquest.
