I would like to hear from someone else about what they think about the CL Mode. I like this mode better than any other mode. To Me it's the Deepest Mode with 0 discrimination. Would just like other users opinions on what they think.

I cannot comment about the CL mode as i have the original green T2,this does exactly what i want from a detector and more,cannot see any real advantage on my sites or my type of detecting to upgrade,if i want to go deeper on clear ground i just bring out the SEF15x12 coil to play,that usually does what i am looking for.Of course if i want raw depth for say a possible hoard then i can use my Pulse or twin box.

Folks that have the latest T2 love them,and as long as they are happy using the detector that is the bottom line,i always carry 4 machines with me when i go detecting and all setup for most of my needs,no one machine can do it all as also just one coil cannot do it all,a selection of coils really gives the T2 alot of flexibilty and one of the best all round machines going.Of course this is just my personal opinion and what works for me.

It is definitely the deepest mode on the discrimination side of the T2. Next best depth wise to all metal. It's taken quite a few hunts under my belt but I find myself using it more than the other modes. As long as I hunt slow I find it separates just as well as the other modes but deeper. I have both the T2se and the new dst model. Since getting the dst model most places I can now hunt with 99 sens. 0 disc. And in CL mode it's deadly, especially in heavy iron using the 5" coil going nice and slow. I just wish in CL and BP there was adjustable iron audio, but no big deal it doesn't. I understand the Tek folks are going to offer the upgrade program again sometime in December. If so, I'll be sending in my regular T2se. Can't think of a better back up machine than another T2 DST.

This is my thinking too, I use the 5" coil a lot and Iv'e got coins a 7 inches. Its a great coil for trashy sites
