Tesoro Tejon Again

Haven't posted in a couple months, just been to hot to detect. Temps starting to cool down here in NW Arkansas, so I am getting ready to swing the coil over the soil.

Last week at a estate sale, I bought a like new Tesoro Tejon, wrapped up in a Tesoro carry bag. I cleaned it up, put batteries in it and did some testing. I was pretty impressed.

I had a Tejon years ago when I lived in AZ, found a lot of good stuff, especially in old home sites, with lots of rusty iron. Can't wait to get my new to me Tejon out and see what it finds

I use mine with a Cleansweep coil at the beach. Only downsides are no volume control and it can’t handle the wet sand.

One of my best finds, was a late 1800's Irish wedding ring, found with a Tejon at an old home site in the Arizona desert.
