#1 is ALWAYS location. This park that I frequent IS a floodplain park, It has been used as a park since the 1800's (when it's not flooded) But I have seen people fishing in the flood waters! Just when you think there is nothing left, BAM! You dig up more goodies. Plus, manufacturers force me to go there when they introduce new products to us hunters. If I can afford a new toy from them, I will purchase it, then back to the ole park. There are a few places in this park that I take my new toys to, to see if I made a wise purchase and I have never been disappointed. Before I bought my Etrac, I turned Doc1964 on to my secret areas in this park, I said to him, " Lets see how good that machine is" before I buy one. He is still showing me up

. I showed him areas that I was no longer getting a single good hit anywhere! I have in the past 30 years pulled numerous barbers, I.H.'s, war nickels, game pieces, Tootsietoy's, jewelry, etc etc. The only signals I had been hearing (before Doc1964) were rusted bottle caps, pull tabs, rusted nails and can slaw, and I have been digging that crap up, just to get rid of it, and in the process, have found a few More goodies

. Do any of you have an area that you use as a "test" garden?............NGE
