I bought a new Fisher F5 a couple of weeks ago, and as a "newbie" the manual might as well had been written in Chinese. I read it, and re-read it and read it again. But it was all of my new friends and fellow hunters here on Findmall that gladly offered me tips, suggestions and help to get me started. So with that said, I just wanted to give a big thank you to so many helpful tips and pointers to get me up and running. Thank you!!! Now that I have had a chance to put it through the paces I am getting the hang of it. I know I still have a lot to learn about some of the settings, etc., but I am (excuse the expression) DIGGIN' IT.
Yesterday I put it through the paces hunting coins, and today hunting Civil War memorabilia with permission from the owners of both sites. Here is a picture of each days finds. Might not be exciting to some of you seasoned hunters, but to me it is a sign of times to come, and I couldn't be happier.
Thanks Again, Skip
