well guys i hit the tot lots hard today had a bad start the first 4 were cleaned out by someone else  little holes all over the place with junk beside them  but after moving to another area i started finding the loot. i found 103 coins for $44.90 & 1 nice silver ring that's bent outta shape i also found 97 pull tabs just to make it interesting (no gold though). I'm going to count the total targets found today it should be interesting.
heres the pics

well the junk count minus the pull tabs is 255 bits so the total targets dug today was 456 :surprised: now i know why i"m so stuffed.

nice job lazy with that find you should change your name to workaholic aussie im charging my batteries for a swing in the morning going back to the spot i was at earlier in the week but you did well mate keep it up to bad about all the junk MM

good luck for tomorow MM i love finding gold so i"v gotta dig all the junk to get it :).

Nice Hunt Lazyaussie. Even scored a Lockheed Viking in the mix. Not a bad mix at all!
Took the Ace out for a couple of hours today with the sniper coil on for a lawn hunt. Only scored a $1 coin, a few pull tabs and a bunch of ankle biters. I was annoyed at their presence at first, but they were quite friendly and well behaved, so we had a good chat as I detected (for most of the hunt).

If I dig 103 coins here in the US I'll have $1.03 !!!! Your doing great the the 250! Keep it up! Nice post..

I think that whole pulltab vs gold business is a scam.

Lazy,
all I can say is awesome. I had a hunt planned today with my brother-in-law but we have 13 degrees and a snow storm so we have deferred to next weekend. I can only hope I could do as well as you. It would be an awesome day if I scored $44.90 in clad! Good for you!

If I do a tot lot trip, I'd be lucky to get 4 done in a trip, and if the first 4 didn't work out, I'd probably be done tot lot'n for the day. Maybe off to something else.
Looks like you had a swell day - lots of coin there for a trip.

thanks all
Mick i was sitting here thinking what is a Lockheed viking  then it clicked it"s the plane it was war of the kids yesterday after i brought that one home :starwars: 1 toy + 4 kids = total anarchy .
dahut yeah it"s a scam i very rarely dig gold in the pull tab range ( most hits in foil-5c range ) but the ones i have found there were nice big ones so i gotta dig em + my pull tab collection is getting bigger buy the day

Lazy you definitely aren't. Good work, wish the weather here would allow some detecting. But the snow is three feet deep and more on the way. :ranting:

Great clad finds.
Nice to find those high denomination coins:clapping:

How come everyone digs up all those tabs. I rarely dig one. On my 250 ( and John does the same ) there is a slight difference in sound between a tab and a nickel or a ring. Maybe it's due to tone deafness in some folks.
