My buddy and I hit the spot we now call the "bank" as it has given up something around 1200 coins, modern, wheats and now some silver over the course of about six hunts. The last three hunts on the spot it has yielded me silver each hunt. Today, it gave up 4 Mercury dimes, 1 40, 42, 43d and a 45. Each hunt has yielded wheat cents, 60 + so far, and today was no exception. I got 5 with dates of 46, 47, 53, 30 and 46.
On a earlier hunt at the "bank" this week I got the 45p war nickel and the 1920d Merc. The day before that my buddy and I were at another old spot and I recovered back to back Indian Head's, 1903 and then the 1887.
I had fresh from the ground shots on all the silvers shown, but the post would have been pretty picture heavy. Shown, however, is a fresh from the ground shot of one of today's digs when I recovered 2 Mercury dimes in the same hole. Found the first one in the clod and upon rechecking the hole found the other. And, one shot is of some of the curio's found. My buddy found both cars and passed them along to me as I collect dug toy cars. The "bank" is starting to now yield some nice interest.
