The E-Trac is a real coin magnet!

This afternoon and evening I really started getting a grasp on what the E-Trac was telling me.

I went to a very small park and dug a lot of clad to start. 3 Quarters, 11 Dimes, 4 Nickels and .40 Lincolns. Toward the end, I found a spot that started producing some deeper stuff. I retrieved 6 wheats 1927, 1928, 1929, 1938, 1948 and 1953. It was getting dark some I had to call it quits. There has to be some silver there! I'm going to try to get back there tomorrow.

Absolutely. Your going to start to tell the iron falsing a lot better now that you've heard deeper good targets and the silver will be way easier to tell than the wheats too!

No silver but $2.65 in clad and 2 1945 Wheats.

you should try hunting in the dark without lights or the back light. not only do you learn the etrac good but you get to the point were can feel of the coins with your fingers and know what they are.
i forced myself to do that about every other hunt when i first got my etrac 2 years ago. it paid off well i never look at my screen for anything anymore unless im just bored lol.

I think that's a land record for me. I usually don't get that much unless I'm detecting a beach.

Also, I'm digging a lot less trash than I did with the SE. Now I just need to do some research and so I can find some old silver.
