The EQUINOX Series is the all-terrain multi-purpose detector that obsoletes all single frequency VLF detectors

Well guys, this is the punch line; so Minelab are NOT claiming it obsoletes other multi-frequency detectors, but rather it does it better and cheaper.

It looks like a definitive attack on the DEUS, timed to coincide with their law-suit against the same ????

It will I'm sure, turn out to be a killer of the more expensive competition...VIVA MINELAB.....matt

P.S.. Just don't let it near your teeth if you have any gold-fillings !!!!!!

Yea it looks like the multi is a marketing scheme. You only get to choose the mode not all at once. Makes sense. Multi HQ picks whats best for you at the time/mode. I was wondering how they would get by Whites. Dues I don't think can patent multiple singles per mode or what not. Makes alot more sense. The difference being the frequency is set per mode. Need to hear more but that is what it sounds like.
