The etrac turned a worthless park in to a good park

Wed I stopped at a park that I have been to a few times with my old xterra505 and didn't find anything. Now don't get me wrong, I think the Xterra505 is one great MDer and it has found over a thousand silver coins in the 10 years I used it but that dog could not hunt at this park and the etrac could.
With most of the coins I was getting some crazy numbers and really bad tones so I was mostly hunting by depth. The Buff locked on 7-13. Both of the silver coins I thought I was digging a IH. On both IH's I was getting a FE number 1, but most of the coins were at the right depth for old coins a round
here and that's a round 6 " deep. Places like this sure makes me happy I got the Etrac.

Nice finds Mark!
Those kind of hunts are fun to me its like a double bonus your thinking one thing and surprised with something else.

Now that's hunting. Nice finds. :clapping:

Nice finds Mark. Barber, Indians and Buffalos is a great day. I have had a lot of deep Indians read 01 ferrous. Since Etrac has so much information in the sound a person can make a pretty accurate
determination on if a deep target is good before it is dug. I see you racked up another nickel also.

Thanks FPD,

I've also dug a lot of IH's with a FE # 01. I don't use Multi tones now, I went to 4 tones a few months ago and things got a lot better for me. The Multi tones gives me way too much info for my lil brain to deal with, lol.

I went back to that park Fri and I did a lil better then I did on Wed, I'll post it later.

Here's my finds from Fri at the park that I thought was worthless. For most of the day I was using TTF in quick mask and I think that setup really helped.
The bear pin is smokey the bear and I also found a old button that had the shank broke off.

Very nice hunt!
That V nickel held up pretty well.
Not always the case in a lot of locations.
Nice variety of finds.
