The first lady wore me out

I had yet to dig a mercury dime ever and got my first today:clapping:I then proceeded to dig 8 more!!!:super:Along with 2 silver rosie's, a silver washington, and my second slq:thumbup:The ground i was on also gave up 15 wheats and a slew of clad.I dug over 100 targets and was exhausted:stars:I kept trying to get back to the truck and but they just kept coming out of the ground. After i dug my first merc a gentleman was walking bye and told me i probably wouldnt find anything here and that the dirt eas not original dirt:rofl:I questioned him about any other parks in the area and he pointed me a couple of blocks over there was county owned property that was all original ground :drool:Iwas going to head over to the new ground but couldnt get away from this area.I was also passing up the 10-42's signals that i was getting because they were coming out pop tops. After i dug the first merc at 10-42 i am sure i passed up a bunch more.Again i have to give credit to labador bob for sending me the maps.I wouldnt have found this silver mine without him. Thanks bob!:please:

That was a good day of detecting. Congratulations on all the nice finds. -- Randy

Way to go! That's a nice silver haul.

He was an older man walking with a cane but he did say he has a detector and found some sort of an old relic down the road.He didnt mention anything about my detector so i am thinking he was a little green.Nice man though and i hope to see him again to invite him to hunt with me.Kinda like paying it forward you know. Here are a couple close ups of my silver. Also in the pic is a heavy silver bracelet.

WOW:surprised: what an awesome hunt. Congrats!! don't let it spoil you though, those kind of hunts are few and far between for most. But, hopefully that spot will keep giving up for a long time to come.

Was hunting a grassy parking strip a couple years back and fella came out and said there was no problem with hunting but another guy had been hunting the whole block for the past week and he was sure he had it all cleaned out.

Well I don't know what he was hunting with but I hunted both sides the street and found 14 silver dimes , two silver quarters and one walking liberty half. Many of the coins were quite shallow, and the funny thing was I found very few new coins and almost no pennies. Guess his machine just wouldn't find silver. Rick IL
