The 6 inch mark on the etrac.....right where the grey starts on the face of the screen...may have a purpose. Usually a deep coin isn’t above this mark on depth...
Unless the ground has been turned over, such as (FIELDS).. or landfills.. pile of fresh dirt..ect.... use it as a deep coin guide.
A coin below the 6 inch mark can and will hit numbers like 12 fe down to 20's fe. One of the best discriminators is your Depth Gauge for deep coins as the
etrac is fairly accurate on depth. Always check the depth before you dig and you will also know how deep you have to dig.
