The Ground Hog Saw....Silver In The Hole!

Got out the last couple of days enjoying the warm weather. Spent most of yesterday in hospital doing pre-admission testing so we only had a short time to hunt, I did get three wheats and had a deep nickel signal, 6+" and was thinking a Buffalo but it turned out to be a 1952 Jeff. Today we went out to a real trashy park that has produced a lot of silver in the past. The first really good signal I got turned out to be a 1946 Washington quarter, then dug a few wheats and one of those ubiquitous Shell Gas Tokens, moved over to another area and picked up 1 more wheat. Nice to get February silver anytime! Diane got some clad each day.

Great job Tony. Good luck with the hip replacement.....my prayers will be with you.

Great finds.

My brother-in-law had both of his hips replaced and he gets around better then ever. Last year at the beach, he was running down the beach chasing the bait fish and casting his rod at the same time. I'm sure that you will have the same results and be back out MDing in no time.

Tony....(and 'nurse' Diana,.) "All the best wishes" for your forthcoming op.

When I read the thread, a tune came winging into my thoughts......a tune for you...post op;

"He always runs whilst others walk"...........then he strikes like Thunder-ball.

So that's the goal, Tony.

Keep us all informed.......Matt.

Nice Bell. We got about 14 degrees here, so no hunting for me. But it is sunny. Eh, my back needs a rest!

Keep it up, get that silver,
