Thanks. Whenever I get in that mood, that's where I set the disc.level. It was one of Jack's recommendations for hunting in tabs. When the tabs (beaver tails) are just breaking up, the gold ring sounds clear up to about 4 1/2 inches and then it starts to break up. If you look at the picture you can see where I had the discrimination set. If the discrimination had been set just a little more to the middle of 'tab', I would have missed that ring.
