Got permission to hunt 2 homes side by side.Circa 1900. the one had a carraige house in the back. Two good sized yards.Spent a couple hours there last night. First let me say MAN it feels good to be back out 11 coins in all.One indian 1900. not bad condition I worked my way twords the carraige house.4 feet from foundation I get a 39.solid.So I think I have a silver quarter.Four in. down I see this coin.Copper Looks like a large cent I put it in my pouch and continue on.Couple more coins and an hour later I quit.So I take the l coinc in to clean them up.Turns out it was a large cent. 1852 Good shape too.Well that made my day..The other large cents I,ve found were all toasted. Finally one I can read.I,ll get some pics soon.
