The Screaming Wheat Cent Signal

Elmy

Well-known member
I have a system I use ....when I locate a target ....I swing over the target and start a tight circle all around the target....
it must hit at least 3/4 of the way around it for me to stick a shovel in the dirt.....it will have the high tone squeak in there if it is a
barber or seated dime/merc coming in at the wheat cent range....or a screaming wheat cent as some call them....If not it is a wheat cent.
If you are not digging 40 co up to 49 you will not get them.
I do pinpoint the target area and then swing across it in detect mode to see if it is exactly where it was pinpointed....if not I walk....
even if it screams silver, it has to be exactly in the same spot on these two checks for me.
