The upper right corner finally happened :detecting:

You E-Trac users know what I'm talking about, and for the first time, I was able to fully experience that feeling.

Haven't posted on here in a while as things have been busy, but I have been lurking around and reading the forums from time to time.

Got out Wednesday morning for a couple hour hunt on the property where I found my Civil War Eagle Button a few months back.

The land owner was there and he showed me where the house was at and the 2 additions that were added on were located. Talked for 15-20 minutes and was able to get in some detecting.

I walked towards where he said the garden used to be located and now is a Pole Barn and pulled a couple of clad quarters. Not a bad way to start being that there is a lot of junk and shredded aluminum around the property.

I made my way back into the main yard and was about 10 yards away from the truck and got a good solid hit in the upper right hand corner of my display. I had never had a reading up there and really wasn't thinking of a really good target, but boy was I surprised when it rolled out of the plug.

My first Walking Liberty Half Dollar 1945

There is a light scratch to it going from the middle ray towards the letter "I" in liberty. Now I'm not certain that I caused that, but if I did, then oh well so be it.

Gotta say, the weather has been perfect and hope everyone gets a chance to get out and enjoy some digging.

Congratulations on the Walker, I found my first and only a few months back and I know what you mean by the upper right corner and the feeling of seeing that coin come out of the ground. Nice find. -- Randy

cannot tell from the pic,but is the "light" scratch you refer to,
a "bright" colored scratch? if so,then, yes ,you scratched it!..if it is "dark" colored, then no!
it is an older scratch!..just sayin'

A scratched coin in the hand is better than a nonscratched coin in the dirt....I always say. :D Great find!
