The WEDGE....

there were lots of times daddy came home after finally giving up on finding the dog or dogs. But a few days later, someone would always call. All of our dogs had leather collars, and daddy had his name and telephone number stamped in a brass place that was put on the collar. I never remember him losing one at all, but my brothers might. If you lived in Arkansas and found a man's dog, it was the proper thing to call the owner so he could come pick him up.
