I'm having a problem with storage space. I just can't seem to part with anything I dig, pan, sluice or fossick. Doesn't matter if it's an old beat up ax head or an unidentifiable flattened piece of lead or even those bigger magnetite crystals I find in the sluice they all seem so precious! Do you folks actually throw away, sell, or in any other way get rid of or dispose of your treasure? To sell my gold seems outrageous - I mean, Gold "IS" the money right? My problem is .... I'm running out of room. Does anyone else have this problem?

I have just started selling off a few things, and yes even dumping some things in the trash ( OUCH) that hurts. So I can have more room for saving other finds.. I have a friend who when he finds something ....he rushes to the pawn shop, or other outlets to sell.. He's very happy doing that.. Has paid for his detector many times over......and bought collectible coins...graded rather than finds coins.

No right or wrong .It's all in what you want.. Find it, Save It....Find it sell it........... I have of late also noticed things I found years ago no longer have the same meaning to me... As my abilities evolved in detecting it seems my tastes for saving some things have changed.......... Last few times out for instance,I buried all memorial penny finds in one hole 6" deep.... Some day maybe another person will find them... They will get a thrill finding multiple coins in one hole.Sometimes 20 or so LOL For years I saved all pennies.
