Think I Found The Old Home Place

That's a very nice location.
Finding some really nice buttons.
Can you show the front of all of them ?

Dumps may have been filled in.
A few times I found them in ground depressions. Like a long dryed up creek.
The area before a sudden depression area was the filled in part.
Hopefully I'm making sense to you.
Kinda looked like a ditch a drainage pipe was put in and filled in. Where the pipe came out back into a ditch.
Though what your looking for won't have the pipe.
Just fill.

I found a couple really nice 1800's dumps in the bottom of old silo's.
Took some digging.
But hundreds of bottles and such.
Never got them empty.
About 10' deep filled.

You'll probably need a probe.
3-4 ft long steel rod with a T handle.
About a half inch in diameter.
We tapered ours to a point with a big hand grinder. Have one in the garage if you'd like a picture.
Glass, plates and such make a nice sound when tapped gently with a probe

Great site.
Wishing you the best of luck.

All in small area maybe 25 yards squared

Nice. Got few dandies in there.
I'm expecting a gold coin. 🙂
At least some large coppers.
Gold at depth comes in around upper iron.
Not sure on that machine though.
Be awesome to see you find a mason jar or tin full of coins.

Good Luck

If yall come to Georgia let me know so you can help me figure this place out. I wouldn’t think the cabin sat where I’m finding the buttons but also finding square nails mixed in the same area.
