Well got out for a couple hours this am with Iowa Jim and did quite well The best of it was Three silver , two-barbers 1894-s and a 1909-d and a ??? yr king george english coin. I would like to say that they were 14 inch's deep but they were only 4-5 inch's each.Still learning but really like the new CTX it really is a joy to swing compared to the etrac. Grumpy

Well if those were dimes, you would never be Grumpy again. So I'm guessing the Barbers are quarters. That should make your English coin a 10 pence, I believe. That is a nice pile of silver. Well done.

Sorry Guys The three coins where quarters.The English coin has a 25 on the back.Had just got up from a short nap and was getting ready for work with four grand kids under foot and in everything. And Joe......Let Me CLEAN things up a little before I have Guests over OK???? HE...HE...HE... Still have so much to learn about the CTX but I new that would happen and its not as big a jump as it was when I first got the Etrac.But I sure Do like the way silver looks coming out of that dark Iowa soil. Dopey.... uh I mean Grumpy
