I'm gettin' older and really tired of trying to sort out the different signals-rechecking them by lifting the coil, etc. So I got lazy for a few days and set the Ace on sensitivity #2- I air-tested and got coins at 3-4" and just wanted to have a couple of lazy days of just skimming the surface. Dang! I even found one hole I tried last week-I could tell I had recovered the hole, thinking it was only trash. This time-bong!-with 3 quarters in it! Next to the hole was a tab. Had I set the sens. too high last week? All signals were smooth-even the nickels had the same long tone. One nickel even kept the tone 4"! Sorry, I found so much I didn't have room to zoom in. There are $10 even in quarters! I even found 2 tiny charms in the jewelry mode. Some kid lost his key. The zipper foot is probably too far away to see-but I'm going to put a slip-ring in each end and a treble hook on one end and see how it works as a fishing bait! I can't tell you how much I enjoyed almost every signal being easy to discern. I did have one deep "bong" even at this low sensitivity and lifting the coil a foot let me know it was another one of those East Texas size metal plates that seem to be at every school. Thanks for looking.
