Hi All,
I got out with a group of 11 this past weekend for two days of digging old sites. How nice it was to dig with a group that didn't have an idiot in it. What I mean to say is that the conduct of all there was perfect. We were digging old yards and fields and there wasn't a bad dig hole to be seen and all trash was disposed of properly just a great group of diggers with respect for each others finds and the landowners. We found everything that the North East has in the way of coins relics and so fourth. I didn't get one but 3 GW Buttons were found. Colonial buckles,Buttons of all types Colonial coins and lots of clad.
My top find was a New York Copper as rare as hens teeth Nova Eborac 1787 you just don't see them dug very often. I got an early Drape Bust and at the end on Sunday I hit a 1781 1/2 Reale in nice shape. HHunting. Get out there
