Didn't get out on Saturday or Sunday due to it being windy and cold out. But I met my quota anyways for Silver on Thurs. and Friday. The temp. was in the upper 40's so it was nice enough to hunt those days. I think this might just be the last of my finds for the year since the weather is going to start getting really cold now and it won't take long for the ground to freeze when this happens. But I did pretty well this year and I just look forward to next year and hoping I can come close or find more than what I found this year. Later on I will post my totals after I know for sure what I have found and if the weather is going to turn for the worst. Now for what I found the last 2 times out. Sorry guys, but I found a few more Silver to add to my collection again. 11 to be exact. 5 on Thurs. and 6 on Friday. They consisted of 1 Washington Quarter dated 1947-s, 1 Barber Dime dated 1914, 6 Mercury Dimes dated 1920,1920-d,1935-d,1936,1940,1941, 2 Roosevelt Dimes dated 1946-d,1952-d, and 1 Canadian Dime dated 1944. I also found a Good For Token. It says Good For 5c In Trade on the Front with the letter M in the middle and the Back says Meng & Garvik Crookston, Minn. with the letter M in the center. It was folded almost completely over but I managed to straighten it back out without damaging it. I also found a Clad Kennedy Half Dollar dated 1978-d. Rick(ND) had some kind of Acid he tried on it and it got rid of the dark color that it was and left it a kind of Reddish color. I think the Copper was leeching thru the coin to make it this color. I also found 2 more Older Canadian Pennies dated 1947 and 1952. I am putting the Canadian Pennies with the Kennedy Half together in 1 Pic. I also found 29 Wheat Pennies dated 1918,1929,1929-d,1930,1936-d,1938,1940,(2)1940-s,(3)1942-d,(2)1944-d,1944-s,(2)1945,(2)1945-d,(4)1946-d,1949-d,(2)1950-d,1952-d,1953-d, and 1955-d. And the last thing I found was a Metal Leaf that is Gold Plated. It must have been a Pin at one time. So Good Luck and HH to you all that are in a warmer climate and get out during this upcoming week.
