Tiny keeper via my F75LTD

I haven't been very active on the forums but I'm getting my swings in. Since late last fall I've been getting to know the F75LTD and have many thoughts and impressions from field time. I won't get into much of all that here. It's so sparky I had to share this little gem pulled from under a thick tree root at a hammered cellar hole, visible from the street. You know the kind of hole with iron chunks and ox shoes left from previous hunters. Except for a couple of beer cans on the surface non ferrous targets were largely absent. I've done quite a bit of testing and the F75 has a quick response to adjacent targets but not the "see through" in iron. Nail on a silver dime as an example, just iron comes through. Being able to hear both targets without the iron causing masking is what I'm talking about. Masking as you know can also occur with some adjacent iron depending upon size of the iron and coil selection. I'm very happy with this detector overall, well suited for coinshooting, relic hunting and cherry picking. It has been a very good companion farm field hunting in PF with the U13" mounted turning up coppers and buttons.

edit: it says SE special edition, same as LTD from what I recall. I knew I wanted the boost mode for some applications. The PF, then default are the modes I've used the most.

Little but a real beauty, congrats.

Nice find buddy.

Very Nice!!:fisher:

Bruce, I looked that coin up in my coin book to check it's value and found that there was two versions of that coin, one with arrows beside the date which was like the one you found and one without arrows beside the date, the one without arrows was rarer and worth more money.
Still, an excellent find! Also found out that it's 90% silver.

Sweet seated. :clapping:

Thanks everyone! I'lm always thrilled when a coin like this turns up and this is a "pounded site". I'm having fun with this F75, always the student - man, it's sparky-sensitive. A pleasure to swing all day.
