wow today was a mean day...........90 degrees and humidity off the chart, I got up at 5:30 am to try and beat the heat, sunrise was at 6:40...........humidity was high even before sunrise. Shirt was soaked completely wet within one hour. sweat was coming off me like a faucet, But LOOK at what I dug!!!!! are you ready for some excitement?

well I was not detecting, but I was digging...........

I live in the country so I have a well for my water, it had a leak and water was seeping up thru the ground, so today I had to dig it up to fix it, what a back breaking chore!! but it is fixed now, and water is back on, THANK GOD!

the hole you see here is 2 1/2 feet deep and about 7 ft long. Nice size pile of dirt there huh? what a fun thing to do on a hot day!

And I still have to fill it all back in yet too, I took a break to mow the yard....lol

Lots of Digging there...You must have a submersible pump...quick story...Had no water one morning, check everything out, found the pump and black plastic pipe had fallen into the well, but it left the wires from the electrical hookup about 20 feet into the well head , started to dig just like you, dad came over, country boy, took a extension light , dropped it down the well head, got the pump wires hooked up into the light cage. By the Grace of God ..we pulled the pump, black plastic pipe and all out...when we were pulling the pump and all I could feel the wires inside of the plastic extension cord slipping... Truly, A Miracle of God
...Glad to see you got your water fixed. Good Job..........Obn
