Fellow club member and I hit the old, trashy park one more time. We hadn't spent a lot of time on the area that he sniffed out his 1920 Walker half and I a Mercury dime, so we decided to see if it had anything else to offer. We worked it pretty hard and no silver coins surfaced. We each, however, scored a jewelry piece. He go a silver ring and I snagged a sterling Medico Alert bracelet. I again had the 10" DD coil on the Omega. That coil really is stellar in trash. HH jim tn

Theres an idea! a big "pulltab" safari hunt! Get your club together, and sponsor a one hour timed hunt for nothing other than pulltabs...whoever gets the most wins one of YOUR silver halfs! (winners choice) Rules: ..all tabs and zinc pennys count, any other coins disqualify entrant, any gold rings found may be kept.
