An unbeleivable 58* degrees here in N E Ohio.. so got to put about 2.5 hrs in for my initial hunt....Here's to low-down.... GB at 74 sens at 70, disc 10, DE mode 3h for tones... no EMI chatter when I lowered the disc to 4 at raised the coil to waist high... Anyway... this is a fast, fast machine ( as everybody knows ).. It does hear everything which is why it is so CHATTY...
I am by nature not a fast whipping detector walker when I hunt.. I hope this doesn't hurt the depth of the machine for locating deep coins and whatsits..
I went to a sled riding hill hoping to pick up surface clad, but actually found very little!! I did dig quite a few coins, but most were 4-6 inch range.. All solid hits, and reasonably solid VDI #'s too. I'm digging everything to see how/what corresponds to the #'s the detector is giving me...
Are there some initial gripes ??? Sure there are , thats to be expected.. The detector tips over alot when set down on solid level ground.... The coil cover fell off at least 8-10 times when picking back up the detector from retreiving a target... I'm not a fan of the arm cuff.. I wish they made it with a strap to slide your hand/arm thru... Possibly I could use a different one from another manufacturer in its place??? All piddly Bi*&$hs I know, but thats what I see.
Overall, it was a nice spin tho.. more to come.
