Took the Wife's Delta out for a spin........

First time I actually got to really hunt with it. Wow, have to say, it's super lightweight and could swing it all day.
Fast response time and pinpoints superbly, reminds me of the Tesoros I owned. Really was enjoying using it for about 2 hours, before the rains came.
Went to a schoolyard ball field I worked over really good with two machines. The Delta was finding more coins, nothing deep about 4" for the deepest.
Generally nothing deeper than that at this schoolyard anyways. Had no problem finding Canadian clad nickels, quarters, dimes and pennies.
Wonder what else is in the schoolyard now......................besides the same really pesky brat of a kid who tries to get me to leave with outlandish stories about the Principle
who does not want detectorists digging holes that the kids are falling into............LOL................the kid has a Bounty Hunter, just protecting his territory I guess. He tried to get me to detect the adjoining woods last year claiming to find $150 in cash........................
Anyways, wife will love the Delta.

I've been thinking about picking up a Delta as a machine I can just keep in my SUV and have handy in case I drive by something I want to check out, without worrying about somebody stealing it. Seems like it would also be a good machine to use at seeded hunt or some other places where speed is more important. Heard quite a few good things about it.

I could not have said it better Sven :) light, fun,and capable pretty much sums it up.
