Toy Coal Cart

DanburyTreasure

New member
A friend and I were hunting near the foundation of an old barn near Katonah NY and found an old toy coal cart. We think it's the one pictured here which was made by the Ives company somewhere around 1890. I wish we could have found the horse and driver, and that it was in better condition. But still, an interesting find.

Nice find. The research it spurred is also a treasure - knowledge is king.
