Hello all!

Well October into November brought a lot of activity.... I have been in Salt Lake City, Atlanta, Detriot, Dallas, Mesquite, Witchita, San Antonio, and Houston... I did get to swing the coil in SLC and Mesquite... OK Texas... what is what that soil... it remonded me of the old monkey sh1t that plumbers used to use... I was glad that it liked to stick to itself just a little more than to everything else... How do you cut a plug or hunt that stuff.... or was that just what they use as fill in parks ??? I tried a few parks and gave up there...

Oct 29th...

Nov 7th... back home and my 50th birthday...

I needed just a few coins (12) to hit 3,000 coins for the year and 6 wheaties to hit 400 wheats for the year... I was hoping to accomplish both of these and recover a little silver as well :) Well... I did all 3 :)

HH ALL!

Missed seeing you in SLC - I work just a couple blocks from the park you hunted. Tornado went through that little park back in '99 and busted up a lot of the real old tree's.

That's one of the oldest areas of the whole city. Glad you found something.

Wow, Paul. You sure get around. Nice job!!!

A lot of good finds there. The "what's it" coin appears to be a Japan 10 Sen coin. It's hard to make out some of the details in your picture to tell which variety it is but should be one of the two aluminum types minted between 1938 and 1943. WWII souvenir perhaps?

Great job Paul !

That sure is a lot of coins - a lot of sliver - a lot of wheats - and ... A LOT OF DIGGING !
