Tuesday's hunt with DrBobinMO 3 Mercs and 8 Wheaties and a Key date Barber I passed over as any good host would have done so my guest Bob could find

I found the 3 Mercs and 8 early wheaties and the round relic among others.Any one able to ID the Relic,Thanks Ray.

Wondering if the relic (large round) might be a Bridal Rosette. Do the 2 pegs on the back show any signs of being broken off? I'm thinking if it is a rosette that the 2 pegs would have created a rectangular loop.

Hey Ray, The big round relic is a horse Rosette. It would have had a "U" shaped thick wire on the back side where the leather was. It probably was silver plated. Hope this helps. Update: As I was writing, DJH beat me to it
