Two holes different ending. Plus old local token!

It’s probably going to be raining the next few days so took advantage of the clear day today. Since I found four wheats at the old military housing, now apartments, figured I would head back and play around a bit more. Jkline was busy being a dentist but did catch up with me shortly.

I found three more wheats, ‘30 and two ‘46. I moved into a grassy rectangle that spans from sidewalk entrance to sidewalk entrance and between the main court sidewalk and the building fronts. Dug a clad quarter and a game token from an Aladdin game and on the return sweep hit it! I had another strong quarter signal so cut my plug and as I started to lift it out I realized I was butt up against another plug. I reached down in mine and pulled a hand full of crumbly loose dirt out, then I saw quarter size silver! I got Jeff’s attention and motioned him over, pointed down the hole and asked if he thought if was his plug next to mine. He stood there dumb-struck for a minute and basically couldn’t remember if he had been in there or not. He asked me to rebury the quarter while he went back and got his eTrac. I wont step on his story if he posts but lets just say the eTrac wasnt working.

I continued on and at the next turn around point I got a 84-85 signal so started thinking 50c or two coins in the same hole. Dug my plug to 5-6” depth and checked the hole, nothing. Pressed the Garrett along the hole wall and got a response so took the hand trowel and dug straight across the wall up high and pried the tip back towards me. I felt the tip hit something but the wall collapsed and I dug the dirt out by hand. It took me a couple seconds to find the object but the Garrett does the job.
My first thought was it might be foreign because it was irregular in shape, then token started to sink in. After spraying it with water and gently rubbing I could make out “The Boston-Idaho’s Price Maker-Moscow Idaho” and on the back “10”. I text the wife and asked to see if she could find out anything via the net, she sends me back a screen shot that simply floored me!!! Yes, I nicked the one side with the hand trowel, go easy on me…..Token is slightly larger than a quarter.
