Two in one hole

Got to hunt an old house for about an hour and a half yesterday.Wow had a great time I know the house is old. Don't know when it was built yet.Started out with a clad penny. After about 15 min. I get a silver signal at 8 inches.Sounded good to me.dug down about 7 in. or so.and I see silver Yes! carefully wiped off the dirt and what do I see but a barber quarter 1896.man that made me happy. Then I stuck my pinpointer in the hole and it goes off.care fully I dig some more dirt out and there it was.a barber dime.1913.all in one hole. That dosen't happen to often.Just then the home owner comes over and says find anything yet.I said your not going to believe this. And I showed her the quarter and she said I don't believe it.I told her you just never know what is buryied.I was so excited I just wanted to quit right then, but I thought maybe there's more.So i kept going.

I started going around some of the big trees in the yard.I get another signal. A 39 at 7 in.I dug down and yes it was another silver quarter 1948 washington. Then on the other side I get a 38 at 6 in.And out comes a 1964 Rosie. All said and done I ended up with 17 coins, 4 silvers ,one clad quarter,10 memorials, two clad dimes. What a great time I had.I'll be going back to that yard as soon as I can.You don't do this good every time out but it's times like this that keeps you smiling.
I get a lot of home owners that say Oh theres nothing out there but go ahead and look.I love to see their faces when I show them all the treasures i've found.
I've probebly detected 5 houses on this street and pulled silver out of every yard. This Safari is the best machine I've ever had.The slower you go . The deeper it goes.I'll never need another detector. Well HH all.

Hey Dave..I needed an early morning "FIND" fix and your report hit the spot! I share in your excitement. I had a lousy day yesterday in the field so your finds give us all encouragement. I think that is typical of old houses. There have been only one or two where I found nothing, but I'm sure if I had more time I could have pulled out something. Are these friends of yours or are you just going to strangers with old houses? Anyway...very good day for you. Thanks for your post. When you go back make sure you change your angle...you'll be surprised what else comes up.

These are houses of people I work with.Tried knocking on doors but not much luck.I WILL keep trying. The day before I went to another yard and only found two memorials and one quarter. But I am persistant and thats the secret.

I'll try to get some pics up.Not to good at it.I have so many things to show but computers are'nt my bag.Have to get my 13 year old to help !! She makes it look easy.I really enjoy looking at all the finds from everyone else. Can't wait to show some of my treasures.
