Made it by the football field Sunday afternoon and again this afternoon. Sunday netted one 1944 Merc and a nice old silver ladies ring along with a few Wheats. This afternoon I got two Roosies and two Mercs. Just one of those real lucky days I guess. The Roosies were less than 5" deep in an area well covered with trash. The two Mercs today were also fairly shallow but only gave really iffy signals. The one Merc on Sunday along with the ring was around 9" deep. Reading the posts on this site have definitely helped my silver production. I've tried to take a lesson from Bryce and go sloooow. The two Roosevelts today were about a foot apart in an area I've pounded over the past year but by going so slow I was able to get just a taste of a signal and there they were. Lots of great stuff to learn from everyone on this forum and I learn something every day. I've been an SE user for two years now and an EX user since they first appeared and metal detecting since the late 70's and I still learn from you guys and in the field.
Thanks for looking.
