ugly silver and a one of a kind indian head:minelab:

I went out to a field that I do well at and found this 1900 barber quarter.Than 10 feet away another barber dime cant read the date.An d I found 2 Indians well 3 the face. The coins are 1904 and 1880 if anyone knows what the Indian is let me know.It has a small loop on the back like you can hang it it was folded in half I thought it was junk until I unfolded it and saw the face.It is very cool.Anyway I am heading out today back to the same place I will post any new finds later.

Chris- great hunt and a very cool "IH". Can't tell, but you may want to post it on the Whatzit Forum so others can help identify it. Did the two IH read as 34 for tid ?
That's one toasted Barber. Good luck finding the rest of the tribe when you're back out there.

kschae4 yes they hit aroung 32-34 and the silver 38-39.The quarter was about 7 inches down out in the middle of a field about 300 yards from the road.I like to go way out away from anything in this field where there is no trash but when I do get a hit it is good.

Great find like the odd stuff better than coins.I have never done much plowed field hunting but when I have the silver always comes out black like yours must be farm chemical?
