This particular park isn't much more than 10 acres I'd guess. There is still stuff there...but most of the wheaties and roosies are long gone.Only deepies left.

the Injuns will hopefully start popping out for you too. Good luck on your next hunt...and i hope one finds it's way into your pouch.

know before I get to a park...what kind of goodies...or lack therof :crylol:..are there. This one gave up a lot of injuns last year...and I don't ever remember digging a wheatie. Somedays you don't get a signal..but somedays the real deep iffy stuff comes in better. I will always try to hunt here after a nice big rain from now on.
Take care buddy...and I hope the snow melts soon for you.

Nice Finds. Bryce. It's good to get out whenever you can. I hope to spend as much time as possible hunting tomorrow
as Sunday looks to be a washout.

do some huntin' tomorrow buddy...cause' were gonna' get dumped on starting Sunday:thumbdown:
Let me know how you do...and good luck.

Very nice finds once again Bryce and that 1911 barber dime is beautiful.:clapping: Glad you are able to get out and I hope your next outing is just as rewarding my friend. HH.

It's good to hear from you my friend. I hope to squeeze in another hunt on Saturday if the weather cooperates. It's supposed to get nasty on Sunday.
Take care bro

Thanks Terri. I know many people won't believe this...but I also know you WILL. I don't care if I find anything or not. It's the freedom of swinging the coil...and the peace it brings me...that keeps me wandering around enjoying this wonderful hobby:) If I'm lucky enough to find some things...I'm more than okay with that too.
Take care...and talk to you soon

As usuall Bryce..great hunt man!!:clapping: That barber is in great shape!!..Hey listen..i actually took the time to try your settings last week..only had about an hour to kill though, but tell you what.. I liked it in the trash!..I pulled a wheat out of some serious crap, and I know theres more there to be found. I did cheat a little, I only upped the gain to 8 and left threshold at stock settings, but I get the picture!! next time I head back Im bringing my 5 inch coil and slowing down even more. I want the SEF 6X8, but funds are tight right now.. I will keep you posted . Good luck Bryce!!

something I absolutely love to do. I have spent countless hours just standing there amidst the most trash laiden spots I can find...tryin' to sniff a few keepers out of it. I think it's one of the few places left that a person with patience can still find some very nice coins missed by others.
I'm glad the settings seemed to do okay for you. Thanks for letting me know....I appreciate it. Good luck on your next hunt.
