unique find yesterday...

I managed to get a few silver dimes yesterday.
The last one I found was a little different however.
When I got the signal, I had a good idea it was going to be a silver coin.
I dug the plug and probed the hole until I saw what appeared to be a silver dime.
I pulled it out of the hole, but before wiping it off, I noticed the little loop on it.
I thought it was going to be a pendant which it turned out to be, but made out of a Mercury dime.
I guess I can still count it as a silver coin!!LOL

Never seen that before. Looks like 1937 was a special year for someone.

Ditto - I'd also put that one in my records as two separate finds - one as a coin find and another as a jewelry find - congrats !
